Why I have selected the University of Florida, on a Saint No (View)

The university of Florida is already one of the universities of the Prime Minister. But it has the ability to be the best. That belief – at the UF pressure, his work, and his future – that was leading me when I followed the unique opportunity of the UF’s Presidency.

Few weeks ago, I got the opportunity to use the purposeful time and university leadership. I believe in their opinion: Ambition, included in a culture of beauty and laser-focused on student success. The zeal I saw in the center – including me in Kamphu at the beginning of this week to meet its students, the partnerships and the meeting between the Board, the Board and the Legislature appearing in higher education. This alignment indicates purpose greetings, and tells me that Florida forms something different. I am so glad to be a part of that.

I believe Florida’s vision of higher education. I understand first things, and I support them. I will do this view clearly, consistency and integrity. I am putting my name forward because I agree with the vision and heritage heritage for social leadership. My alignment is based on the principles – such as an approved emphasis on the fight, supporting supporters and learning the basis, and the belief that our universities should prepare for students not just job service.

Community universities with the responsibility of maintaining a basis for the ACADEMIC Excellence, mental and achievements. That means refuses to be a realistic holding, supporting law enforcement and cultural creation when difficult thinking and open conversation of the burning speech is prosperous. I fell in that commitment.

As many, thus support believes it is the first goal of Dei – to ensure the same opportunity and righteousness of the entire student. That is a lot of everyone agree. But in time, I realized that Dei became something – talking about Idoology, separating and bureaucracy, not student success. That is why, as president of the University of Michigan, I made the decision to complete the medical offices and direct the resources to education and success-based support. It was unlikely, but it was necessary. Myself so – and I’ll bring I in the same for the UF’s goal.

The future of higher education depends on a clear machine, a culture of fairness and accountability, and a deep commitment to safety students’ prosperity. That means strengthening relationships with businesses, agricultural support and innovation, and to ensure each student – no matter than – has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

I understand the challenges of leadership in modern education. During my employment that leads some public universities, I refused to launch the centers or against the public figures of national political statistics. This I have done because I believe universities should serve as a learning platforms, not partitions or cattle activists.

Combining antisemitism has been the most important of all my work. I have worked greatly with the Jewish students, intelligence and community leaders to ensure that the campuses are places of respect, safety and all your integration. I know that the University of Florida has been a national leader in this regard – to submit a gold standard to stand firm against fighting against hate. That level will not change under my leadership. I will continue to ensure that the UF is a place where Jewish students felt fully supported, and when all kinds of hatred and discrimination are clearly faced and without hesitation.

Finally, a peaceful protest has a place in the field. But the University of Florida is not a place of interruption, intimidation or lawlessness. If I have been approved, the UF will remain a compass where all students are safe, when different views can be heard when the law law is respected.

This is the fun time for the Florida and the University of Florida. I’m honored to be part of it. And I’m ready to go to work.
