Amazon’s Black Friday deals include the Fire TV Stick 4K Max for a record low $33
Amazon is marking down a number of its products for Black Friday and that includes its streaming devices. Right now, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max is down to $33 from $60 — a 45 percent discount that brings it to an all-time low price. This device is Amazon’s most powerful streaming stick, supporting a 4K Ultra HD display, with advanced support for Alexa Voice Remote and Wi-Fi 6E. Yes, you can use it to access Amazon Prime Video, as well as Netflix, Disney+ and all your favorite broadcasters.
While the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is a great way to stream, we also use it for something different: playing retro games. Our senior reporter Jeff Dunn bought one to play games on PS1, Game Boy, Genesis, classic arcade games and more. You find that it works much better than lugging around any large devices. However, using your Fire TV Stick 4K Max to play older games requires a bit of setup, so if you’re interested in trying it out, I’d like to point you to Dunn’s handy guide here.

Amazon’s Fire TV Cube has also been discounted as part of a huge sale on Fire TV devices for Black Friday. Right now, you can pick up the streaming device for 29 percent off, down to $100 from $140. Cube is your choice if you want to access ethernet and use hands-free with Alexa. It’s more powerful than the 4K Max, but, for the price difference, it’s a tough call if it’s worth it.
