Desperate Housewives could be returning to our TV screens – but not in the way some fans are expecting.
When asked if there are any talks about bringing back the hit series, the creator Marc Cherry revealed a story that may give viewers a new perspective on Wisteria Lane. Desperate housewives, which aired on ABC from 2004 to 2012, followed a group of women living in the fictional town of Fairview as they dealt with a series of personal problems over the course of 15 years. Speculation about a potentially dangerous off-screen dynamic began in 2012, when it was reported that Longoria, Huffman, 61, Cross, 62, and Vanessa Williams gave farewell gifts to the show’s staff without Hatcher’s involvement.

I say,'[People] they say we are fighting.’ They’re like, ‘Well, that’s just a narrative they’re doing to women because we’re over 40 years into a television show.’ And I said, ‘Yes.’ I wasn’t smart enough to understand that,” Longoria continued. “Anything that happened outside of the show, we were like, ‘What?’ We wouldn’t even get the wind to go out without ourselves. We were only on set. … I remember that sound outside of us. We were in such a bubble with our staff and each other. “
