AOC, Tim Walz scoffed at the ‘negative’ appeal to male voters
‘Outnumbered’ host Kayleigh McEnany and Fox News contributor Charlie Hurt discuss Trump and Harris’ campaign messaging ahead of Election Day as AOC and Tim Walz make a ‘negative’ appeal to young male voters.
Tim Walz made a mistake on Sunday.
The Minnesota governor, a former high school defensive backs coach, was widely mocked for misusing a common football term after live-streaming himself playing video games.
Walz was playing the latest episode of the Madden video game series on Twitch with Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, DN.Y., in an effort to woo young male voters just days before the election. During the game, both Democrats urged voters to support Vice President Kamala Harris’ bid for the White House.

Afterward, Walz, who was wearing a camouflage Minnesota Vikings cap, tweeted to X that Ocasio-Cortez “can pick 6,” meaning if the quarterback drops back for a touchdown.
“And we both know that if you take the time to create a playbook, you will use it,” Walz wrote.
The post was later removed, but critics were quick to point out the mistake.
“The AOC can use 6 direct choices – and I can call the sound of the game. And they wonder why they can’t get men to vote for this ticket,” one X user wrote.

“Tampon Tim is such a dork. You’d think a football coach would notice you don’t run a pick 6!” Trump’s “War Room” campaign wrote.
“Are we sure Tim Walz has even watched a football game, let alone coached a team?” another user wrote.
“I’m not sure if Kamala ever worked at McDonald’s and now I’m not sure if Walz ever coached football.” wrote another.
