‘The View’ co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar lash out at undecided voters as Election Day approaches

The hosts of “The View” appeared frustrated by voters who were not yet sure whether they would support Vice President Kamala Harris in the tight 2024 race, with Joy Behar admitting she was “distracted” by worrying about the outcome of the election.
The incumbents held a town hall in Harris County, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, where he spoke to undecided voters. After playing a clip of one voter criticizing the speech of the two leaders, Behar lashed out.
“Get off the phone, okay?” he said. “He’s a presidential candidate with credentials compared to some kind of nut. That’s what you’re up against. Stop the fence, I’m sick. I can’t take this anymore.”
“You see I have a problem. I can’t wait for Election Day, so I can sleep at night!” he added with a sigh.

Behar said there must be a “blue tsunami” to win the race by a large margin.
Host Whoopi Goldberg also criticized swing voters who were reluctant to support Harris.
“If you’re not sure now, I don’t know what else people want. He’s out himself,” Goldberg said of Harris’ resurgence in media interviews a few weeks ago.
“He’s doing the best he can with what he’s got, and if it’s not right, we’re in trouble,” Goldberg teased.
Earlier in the show, co-host Sunny Hostin said Harris was held to a “different standard” than former President Trump was held to.
CNN CRITICAL OF KAMALA HARRIS’ TOWN HALL PROCESS: ‘WORD SALAD CITY’
“He is held to a different level. He should be perfect when he is the most imperfect person we have ever seen in the presidency. That is the truth,” he said.
“That’s true. And, you know, the criticism of him – the criticism that he’s getting is that he’s too well-documented. I say he’s disciplined. I want someone who’s disciplined around the nuclear codes. I want someone who’s moderate around the nuclear codes, so all this criticism that he’s getting makes it clear to me that it’s not just a choice two, people hold him to a different level, because he is crazy,” he continued.
Behar agreed. “He doesn’t even have to appear healthy, that’s the bar right now. He has to appear as a president,” he said.
CNN commentators criticized Harris’ answers during his town hall Wednesday, suggesting the vice president gave a “word salad” of answers when he didn’t want to answer a question.

“The thing that bothered me was that he didn’t want to answer the question,” said former Obama adviser David Axelrod. “His habit is to visit word salad city, and he did that with a few answers. One was in Israel. Anderson [Cooper] asked a direct question, ‘Would you be stronger in Israel than Trump?’ And there was a seven-minute answer, but nothing related to the question he was asking.”
Axelrod also said Harris made a “mistake” when answering questions about the border policies of the Biden-Harris administration.
Harris said he believes the administration did the “right thing” by waiting until 2024 to take action to control illegal immigration.
