Former President Trump and his partner, Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, has sat down for at least 85 interviews since the Harris-Walz ticket was launched in early August, compared to at least 47 recorded interviews for Democratic presidential candidates. ticket so far.
After doing just one joint interview in the first three weeks of her campaign, Vice President Kamala Harris and running mate of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz have stepped up their media appearances in recent weeks to match their Republican counterparts. Harris spoke with Fox News political chief Bret Baier on Wednesday in Pennsylvania, marking his first interview with the network, and he also spoke briefly with NBC’s Peter Alexander on Friday.
In addition to appearing Tuesday on Charlamagne Tha God’s radio show, Harris has also done recent interviews with outlets such as CBS’s “60 Minutes,” the liberal magazine Vogue, progressive journalist Roland Martin, and popular podcasts such as “Call Her Daddy,” “All Smoke” and “Shadow Room.” He also appeared last week on “The View,” where he made headlines for not saying what he would have done differently from President Biden, and on the outspoken fan shows Stephen Colbert and Howard Stern.
Harris has stuck to friendly places, speaking with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle last month, in addition to local news interviews in Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. He drew public criticism this week from Time Magazine owner Marc Benioff, however, for refusing the company’s interview requests for a story about his presidency.

As Hurricane Milton bore down on Florida last week, he also did phone interviews with The Weather Channel and CNN. Since early September he has spoken with Wired, the National Association of Black Journalists, Uforia, the TelevisaUnivision audio network, and radio hosts Rickey Smiley and “Miss Jessica.”
Meanwhile, Walz joined “Fox News Sunday” for the second week in a row on Sunday, October 13, and did interviews last week with Jimmy Kimmel and the “Smartless” podcast. He also spoke to Pennsylvania and Arizona news stations last week, in addition to an extended interview with ABC News. This week, he also did interviews with Rich Eisen and the “We Can Do Hard Things” podcast.
Walz has spoken to TV stations in Georgia, Wisconsin and North Carolina in recent weeks. He spoke to MSNBC and ABC after last month’s presidential debate, and was interviewed by Michigan’s Fox 17 channel.
Walz has spoken to radio stations in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Trump continued to perform and appear in the media, most of them with supporters. He did an interview Tuesday with Bloomberg Senior Editor John Micklethwait at the Chicago Economic Club, and aired Tuesday on Barstool Sports’ “Bussin with the Boys” podcast and Thursday on Patrick Bet-David’s podcast.
He spoke with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo on October 13 and recently recorded an interview with the “Full Send” podcast, where he noted that he may appear on Joe Rogan’s show soon. He also appeared on Friday’s episode of “Fox & Friends” and Friday’s OutKick show “Maintaining with Tyrus,” as well as interviews this week with Dan Bongino and Tom Klingenstein.

Trump was also interviewed by OutKick’s Clay Travis while attending the Georgia-Alabama football game last month, and has been interviewed by Fox News figures and shows like “Fox & Friends,” Bill Melugin, Sean Hannity, Brian Kilmeade, Laura Ingraham, Greg. Gutfeld, along with Marc Thiessen of the Washington Post, Glenn Beck, Ben Shapiro, Sharyl Attkisson, the “Ruthless” podcast, the “Flagrant” podcast, the Daily Mail, NBC News, the New York Post, Lex Fridman, owner of X. and Trump supporter Elon Musk.
To mark the anniversary of the October 7th terrorist attacks, radio hosts Hugh Hewitt and Sid Rosenberg were interviewed.
Vance, who appeared Oct. 17 on “Fox & Friends,” has done a number of interviews since the Harris-Walz ticket was launched on Aug. 6, including several Sunday talk show appearances, as well as interviews with CNN, Fox News and ABC behind the scenes. The ABC News Presidential Debate between Trump and Harris last month. A previous interview with the New York Times was published on Oct. 11, and appeared on ABC’s “This Week” and “Fox News Sunday” on Oct. 13.
Vance also spoke to Time magazine for a lengthy cover profile.

Trump has held six extended press conferences since August, while Harris has yet to hold an official press conference since succeeding President Biden as the Democratic nominee.
