The McDonald’s E. coli outbreak is spreading

The number of victims of the outbreak of E. coli linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounder hamburgers has increased, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported on Friday.
The organization said in an analysis of 75 people infected with E. coli O157:H7 13 states as of Thursday, and 22 hospitalized.
An outbreak of E. coli in the US has been linked to McDonald’s Quarter Pounder hamburgers.
When the CDC first announced the outbreak on Tuesday, there were 49 cases of sick people, resulting in 10 hospitalizations and one death.
