The Bold and the Beautiful remake starring Taylor Hayes and Rebecca Budig made me suspicious from the start. I suspected that Brad Bell brought him back just to kill him. And now that seems to be the plan.

When Taylor and Ridge (Thors ten Kaye) began to remember their dead daughter, Phoebe Forrester, it was another red flag. Remember, Phoebe died in a car accident back in 2008. And Taylor talked about seeing Phoebe again one day. That was the second red flag.

Are you thinking about their late daughter and the possible reunion because she is dealing with her death? It seems so. The concern for Taylor’s health is heart related and she thinks she wants to spend her last days.

It’s also a problem for The Bold and the Beautiful that Ridge has been sending mixed signals since Taylor’s return. Little touches, sitting very close, showing how much he enjoyed her company. Meanwhile, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) told her sisters that she is not threatened by her ex.

He told Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) that you can’t stop the power of love. Especially one rich with history and memories. Then, B&B goes back to Ridge and Taylor discussing their history, memories, and love. More red flags!

B&B Spoilers: Ridge Forrester Shocks His Ex-Wife’s Death

B&B spoilers suggest that Taylor Hayes kept a secret for a while that she was terminally ill. But once it’s out, Ridge will panic and be willing to do anything to help. He recently told Taylor that he hoped he would stay. Wiping away her tears, she answered. Because he knows he can’t.

Another red flag to The Bold and the Beautiful about things changing is this. As Ridge spends time with Taylor, Brooke says she feels secure knowing she has the man she should be with for the rest of her life.

And The Bold and the Beautiful kept dividing between his self-confident statements and Ridge’s collaboration with Taylor. He told Katie and Donna that he is over worrying that his ex-wife will come back to steal him away. Brooke says she has complete faith in their love. But that is changing fast.

The thumbnail shows her looking sullen and unhappy outside the CEO’s office as her boyfriend and ex-wife share a close moment. Furthermore, in their conversation at the Forrester mansion, Ridge’s ex said that she will always be the love of his life in the Bold and the Beautiful. Spoilers suggest that’s another red flag for more of them.

Bright and Beautiful: Taylor & Ridge’s Bed Wedding?

The Bold and the Beautiful seems to point to a marriage on its deathbed with these red flags. Taylor asked Ridge why he never married Brooke. And he actually said they’ve been there, they’ve done that, and it’s not necessary.

Not only are deathbed weddings and dying couples a regular soap opera, but B&B has done it before – with this particular couple. Remember when OG Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) pulled the same stunt in 2005?

Stephanie faked a heart to push Ridge over to Taylor. He asked that they get married again before he died. They got married, but he lied that he was going to die. Eventually, Brooke revealed the scheme and the family exploded on Stephanie.

If The Bold and the Beautiful recycles the deathbed marriage plot, it would be interesting, if done right. And at least in this case, it’s a real medical condition. When word spread that Taylor was dying, I saw Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) or Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) pushing Ridge to meet their mother.

I wouldn’t expect Taylor Hayes to ask Ridge Forrester to marry him because he’s sick. But her children may have a dream wedding to the love of her life before she passes. It looks like they’re setting up a breakup or Brooke and Ridge drama.

So, if Taylor is nearing the end, Ridge might want to make her final moments as happy as possible. He might even expect Brooke to understand and agree. The Forresters might think Brooke is selfish if she doesn’t, but the Logans probably wouldn’t agree.

But I also expect that the Bold and the Beautiful might pull off a miracle cure at the last minute. As they did with Eric Forrester (John McCook). B&B kept the story of his death under wraps for months – I couldn’t believe it at all.

Although none of us want a tired old love triangle with Brooke, but a death triangle? That would be worth watching. Taylor Hayes’ heart is failing her, but maybe Ridge Forrester will let her get back to hers before he dies. Will we get a wedding on the CBS deathbed soap “Tridge”? It is possible.
