Tips before playing
Before you will play, there are a few things you need to do. Here are some tips for all saved, because the search interface is not the most simple to wander.
Set your border. The last thing you want while playing to run into your room while shown eyes. Your quest will guide you with the process of setting your limit. The rooms allow you to draw a playground to go freely, suspension where you stand. But what if you move places? Or do you want to play the game sitting on the ground instead of getting up?
To change your border, press the OCULUS key to your correct controller (is one underneath the Joystick). This draws the menu downwards of the screen (you should do this only if the menu is not now). From there, if you roam the clock night, you can select a quick setting panel. And select a guard. If you choose roads, you should just hit and make sure and all set. If you select rooms in the living room, it will lead you by drawing a new garage border.
Your quest may support and map of the room, using the external cameras to find walls and things in your space and remember later. This makes walking between smooth rooms and has no work, and to enhance XR developed features. You can find information about this feature on “Nature of Setup” tab your Settings tab.
Buy Games. Meta Quest Store is an easy way to buy your headset games, but there are three ways to do it. Regardless of the option you choose, you need to have a file payment (credit card, debit card, or PayPal). The browser method is an easy way to install this information.
- Browser: Log in to the store. From there, you can type in the game name and log in to the search bar at the top of the right or click “apps & games” to delete. Once you have chosen the game, there is a blue button on the right of its info page that lists its value. Set that and will move you to buy.
- App: Download OCulus app and log in to your account. Click the Store button down the left again, such as in the browser’s steps, you can scroll or search for a specific topic. Once you have already clicked the game, the app uses the same button with a price plan at the bottom of the screen. Just click the button, update the payment information, and make a purchase.
- Headset: With headset on, bring down the menu below. The store icon is the orange with a small shopping bag. Click on this, and you have a browsing option in games or search. Once you have selected the game and view its info page, hit the blue button on the right with the price mark you can buy.
NOTE: If the game is comfortable, the blue button will say “Find” rather than the price list. And when you buy a game with a browser or app, you will still need to download your head. See the next step of instruction.
Download and access your games. Once you have purchased the game, you need to download it. If you have purchased it in your head, download should start automatically. Once completed, the button will change to “play” to jump directly.
When you buy a game with a browser or app, it heads to the store in your store and search the game. The store will list you as “purchased,” but if you click on the blue button page it will change from price range to say “Downloading.” Hit that and it will automatically show you the continuation bar.
If your headset is connected, or charging docket, and waiting mode, you can also use the OCulus app to start downloading the device. I will use this to choose the game on my phone, and I am ready to go when I enter the headset.
To access all your games – purchased purchases and downloads – brings the menu bar below by hitting the OCulus button in that appropriate controller. From there, click the “Apps” button to the right (the one with nine dots). This will show you everything you purchased, and you can filter to see only those installed or missing. Click the game icon and you should download it.
Your screen increases. At one point, you will find that your screen is no longer valid as you want. Maybe take your headset to check your phone or drink water, or maybe you’re in the game and you want to change your insight. To reset your speed view, hold the meta button to the correct control for a few seconds. You will see a little dial appears, and as long as it is filled, the view will reset the direction we want right now.
View your battery life. If you are fully charged, the quent battery usually lasts about two hours. If you are not sure how much your headset left, hit the OCulus button on the appropriate control to bring the menu below. On the left, under the clock, a small battery icon gives you difficult gauge your money. When you click on it, it brings a quick setting screen.
