Sister Wives: Kody Reveals The Disturbing Reason He Didn’t Dump Meri

Sister Wives star Kody Brown shocked TLC fans when he tried to explain why his marriages with all his ex-wives ended. And of course… it’s not his fault.
In the latest bombshell, Kody Brown gave a very disturbing reason behind his decision to stay married to Meri Brown, his first wife. Now Kody says he never loved her. And he says he regretted marrying her in the first place.
So, why has Kody been wearing Meri Brown’s thread all these years? I mean he wasted years of his life.
Kody really stood out on a recent episode of Sister Wives when he told his ex-wives, ‘You’ll be sorry if I don’t love you.’ Classic Kody – basically telling them it’s their fault he doesn’t like them, not his.
The way Kody treats his wives is clearly different from each other. Although he has publicly said that he regrets marrying Meri and Christine Brown, his relationship with Janelle Brown seems to be a different story.
Kody even made efforts to keep Janelle around in previous seasons. He even tried to persuade her to stay with him. However, his decision to turn his back on their children, and then blame the children for the breakup eventually became a distraction for Janelle.

Sister Wives: Kody Brown Shocks Fans, Blames Ex-Wives For Failed Marriages
Anyone who watches Sister Wives has seen how Kody has been pushing Meri away for years. During the period of 18, he began to cry about feeling ‘stuck’ in a plural marriage.
He said that wives have the power to walk, but they don’t. He made it clear that he wanted Meri to leave. And then, he was seen trying to chase her away. Many fans see this as emotional abuse. Because, Kody was going to tell Meri that he wanted to try to make it work, and then deliberately try to get her to leave. Kody even admitted that he lied about wanting to make it work, so it’s clearly a case of gaslighting.
On the other hand, Meri Brown, says they were happy when they started their marriage. He said that Kody loved him. This makes sense, because Meri was Kody’s first wife, and he wouldn’t have married her unless he loved her back then.
Meri sees Kody’s recent comments about Sister Wives as mean and believes he tried to fire her so she wouldn’t be seen as a “bad person.”
Meri’s observation echoes that of many Sister Wives fans. They have also been aware of Kody’s manipulative behavior for years.
SW: Kody Stayed With Meri Out of Fear, Although He Said He Never Loved Her
The most shocking revelation came when Kody Brown casually dropped the bomb about his real reason for staying with Meri, and he didn’t dump her early.
Kody didn’t abandon Meri even though he said he never loved her, he said he regrets marrying her.
In a confessional letter to Sister Wives, Kody admitted that he should have ended his marriage to Meri 25 years ago. But, he stayed in the marriage out of fear. And the reason for this fear is very disturbing as you will learn.
Kody Brown said he stayed with Meri (and wasted 25 years of his life) because “the church leadership will not allow you to remarry if you abandon wives.”
This statement is an acknowledgment that he stayed in a loveless marriage, he lied to Meri that he wanted to fulfill it, to open the door to marry more women.
So, instead of dealing with the problems in his first marriage, either by fixing them or ending the relationship, Kody chose to continue the cycle of plural marriage. Even if it meant keeping Meri in an unhappy and unfulfilling relationship.
Viewers are disgusted that a person who always talks about love and family can unite Meri like this to continue marrying many wives.
