Simple Ways to Test Comprehension
Whether you’re using formative assessment data to personalize learning within a unit, or additional summary data to improve curriculum mapping, the ability to quickly and easily assess understanding is an important part of what you do. Some aren’t really quick–“Test what you’ve learned in a new context”–but there are a dozen or so other ideas you should add to your teacher’s toolbox, many of which are not content-related, but rather insight-related. (Find 3 people who agree with your opinion.)
