Just when you thought you could catch your breath after CES 2025, Samsung is gearing up for a big tech reveal at today’s Galaxy Unpacked 2025.

With its first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year, Samsung will present a first look at its flagship mobile devices and a host of new AI features.

Of course, the highlight of the event will be the launch of the Galaxy S25 series. Expect three smartphones: Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra. While the design will remain familiar with the rounded edges, the biggest improvement is under the hood.

The S25 Ultra is rumored to get a slight makeover, with a larger 6.9-inch display and an upgraded 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. Perhaps the most exciting change is what powers these devices: Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, designed to produce AI.

This means we may see some big AI-powered features Samsung has yet to unveil.

Along with the new hardware, Samsung will probably officially launch One UI 7 on the Galaxy Unpacked. Already in beta, this updated version of Samsung’s custom Android interface promises an intuitive experience, with a modified notification system and a host of AI improvements. Samsung hails One UI 7 as the “first integrated AI platform,” and with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, expect to see new AI-powered capabilities that can really set the S25 series apart.

Following the AI trend of the agent, rumors even point to Samsung’s “AI agent” that will provide personalized recommendations in all categories, from fashion to transportation.

The Galaxy S25 series is poised to bring major AI-powered improvements to its system, including the expected release of One UI 7 which will help boost Galaxy AI advancements.

But a leak reported by Neowin suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen could lose bluetooth functionality. Downgrading means touch and remote control may no longer work on the device.

This leak isn’t confirmed, but we’re only a few hours away from knowing for sure.

Samsung is reportedly developing a set of XR glasses in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm under the name Project Moohan. The XR glasses are expected to run the Android XR operating system.

While the device is rumored to be launched in 2025, it’s not clear if Samsung will have anything ready to show off at today’s Unpacked event.

Although we are only hours away from seeing the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 phones, a new leak points to a possible pre-order bonus.

If the rumors are true, Samsung will offer twice the storage size for phones pre-ordered between Jan. 22 to Feb. 6 for the same price, according to Dealabs.

That would mean you can get the 512GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S25 for the same price as the 256GB version, the site says.

An important caveat to this is that this leak mentioned deals specific to the EU, so it is not clear yet whether the special offer will include the US market. But we don’t have long to wait to find out!
