Rachael Ray says she suffered ‘a few bad falls’ after ‘derogatory’ words

Rachael Ray shared a health update after fans expressed concern for the chef’s well-being.
Ray, 56, admitted he was injured while opening up to fans about what he likes to do in his spare time.
“I’m a homemaker. I love chores, I love being in the kitchen. I’m always working with my brain every day, I’m always writing,” Ray said at the beginning of his podcast, “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead.”

“I am a homemaker. I love housework, I love being in the kitchen. I always work with my brain every day.”
“But I really like chores. I like what people consider physical work. I like making dinner, planning dinner, making lists.”

The television host added that he enjoys “physical work,” such as “carrying firewood,” but suffered “a few bad falls” in the past few weeks.

“I haven’t done that in a while,” he remarked.
Ray added that sometimes she can compete with her husband to see how much wood they can both carry.

However, he noted that he did not say to her directly, “I mean that to myself.”
Ray’s comments come after fans previously expressed their concerns about his health on social media.

Last month, the American chef shared a cooking video with his fans, as he paid tribute to the late Tony Bennett with his favorite dish, “ossobuco, succulent braised veal shanks with creamy polenta and bread.”

When Ray shared the personal story of his dear friend Bennett eating at his house, fans quickly reacted to his appearance.
“What’s wrong with him? …horrible words….wow wow just…” read one comment.

Others sympathized with Ray and said he felt he was talking about his late friend.
