Perry Farrell’s Wife Shares Medical Update After Dave Navarro Fight

Farrell’s wife, Said Laushared an update on her husband’s health on social media on Saturday, September 21, revealing that he has already made an appointment with an otolaryngologist and a neurologist. While an otolaryngologist focuses on the ears, nose and throat, a neurologist examines conditions that occur in the human brain.
A Jane’s Addiction reunion tour was called off earlier this month after Farrell, 65, got into a fight with the guitarist. Dave Navarro during a concert on September 13. The group was performing their song “Ocean Size” at a venue in Boston when an altercation broke out and led to Pharrell being pulled from the stage by security.
On September 16, Jane’s Addiction announced the cancellation of their reunion tour in a statement shared on social media.
“For all fans, the team has made the difficult decision to take time off as a team,” explained the statement. “As a result, they will be canceling the rest of the trip.”
Lau shared a long update on Instagram about Pharrell, writing, “More than grateful and humbled, to all the loved ones who have taken the time to send us beautiful words of love and support – checking back and forth to make sure we are treated well.”
Farrell’s wife revealed that people had given them “love and compassion, kind words, even your homes” in the days since Jane’s Addiction canceled their tour.

Lau apologized on behalf of her husband, and shared their next steps moving forward.
“We take a little time for ourselves, meditation and healing,” Lau explained. “Perry already has appointments with[n] otolaryngologist and neurologist.”
He continued, “If you know and love Perry well, you know there’s no need for me to tell more fake news. Our souls know it. With all your love, kindness, compassion and support, you know, Perry will persevere. “
After sharing that her husband will return to making music as soon as he is sufficiently recovered, Lau commented, “Make no mistake, when he is ready he will take another big step over obstacles to make us laugh, think, while changing the world together. We can be happy together then. And you’ll know, we couldn’t have done it without you.”
