Spotify Wrapped may have had a bit of a letdown this year – and maybe a cry for help from some – but because Saturday Night Live host Paul Mescal, served as the perfect musical backdrop.

I Gladiator II The star takes on the role of Myron, a young man who can’t wait to share his Spotify Mix with friends, convinced that it is the perfect expression of his good taste. His top artists? Kendrick Lamar, Sabrina Carpenter, and reigning first place: Satoshi Gutman (played by Bowen Yang).
I don’t know who that is? Well, you obviously have no culture and need immediate musical intervention. But if you must know, Gutman is an instrumental rock star from Dundalk, Maryland. He even has a podcast, with Myron as the lead listener, filling in a clip of Gutman interviewing none other than Trisha Paytas.
