Pat Sajak’s Daughter Maggie Reveals Her Best Wheel of Fortune Advice

“He always insists on being prepared and doing your best in whatever situation you are in, because you never know what situation you will be thrown into,” he explained. “He’s like, ‘Do your best wherever you are, [and] if it’s a small moment every interaction you have, make it special for the contestants, especially when we’re on the show.’”

Pat, 77, homemaker Wheel of Fortune 41 years, he finally retired in June. Maggie, Pat shares with his wife Leslie Brown alongside son Patrick, he joined Wheel of Fortune in 2021 as an official social media correspondent.
“[As] the show’s social media reporter, we do fun behind-the-scenes things and get to go to fun things like the iHeartRadio Music Festival,” said Maggie. We, realizing his intentions to support his father’s show legacy. “I mean, this game means a lot to me and my family, so we’re always going to want it to be special and it always will be.” It’s in good hands so we’re excited to see where it goes.”
Ryan Seacrest is the new host of Wheel of Fortune, and Maggie recounting Us that he is “good” in the role.

You can really see how prepared he is and how he handles the contestants and how he handles the whole experience.”
After watching her father’s reign and socializing with him over the past few years, Maggie has come to realize how special he is Wheel of Fortune for spectators and competitors.
“It’s a special show for a lot of people and it’s more than just a show, which sounds cheesy, but it is,” says Maggie. Us. “I mean, this brings generations together. This is the time when families eat dinner together. … So, when people come up to my dad or tell me how much the program means to them, it goes beyond ‘I love that program,’ and being a part of it now is really meaningful to me.”
Wheel of Fortune has delighted many viewers since it first aired in 1975 – but over time it has also gone wrong. Maggie also sees Pat’s longtime boyfriend Vanna Whitewho remains on the show with Seacrest, as part of the Sajak family.
“We joke that she’s Aunt Vanna, but I’ve known her since before I was born,” Maggie joked. “He’s beautiful [and] I love being able to see him now at work. We have a lot of fun; I drag him to the TikToks I do and stuff like that. “
He continued, “He is truly an icon, a legend and a wonderful person. He is as sweet as he seems.”
