Netflix’s ‘Meet Me Next Christmas’ trailer features Christina Milian looking for love and Pentatonix tickets

It’s not Halloween yet, but Christmas bells are starting to ring. Netflix has released the official trailer for the holiday-themed rom-com See you next Christmaswe promise more of those seasonal love stories we’ve come to expect from this time of year — this time with a musical guest.

See you next Christmas follows Layla (Christina Milian), a woman on a mission. Work? To get a ticket to Pentatonix’s sold-out Christmas Eve concert and find a romantic encounter with James (Kofi Siriboe), a handsome man she met last year. Apparently having left this important job until the last minute, Layla hires facialist Teddy (Devale Ellis) to help her search New York City for a ticket to her fairytale ending. Of course, as the concert approaches, so do these two.

It’s not clear from the trailer why James and Layla don’t simply exchange contact information during their first meeting rather than leave their love lives up to Ticketmaster’s brutality. hunger Games.
