What Little Sheldon Easter Egg Are Fans Missing From Georgie and Mandy?
Followers of Young Sheldon who seems to have missed a great big easter egg featured in many episodes of Georgie & Mandy’s First Wedding.
Creator Steve Holland confirmed that George (Montana Jordan) Ford F-150 is the car owned by his late father, George Sr.
“There’s a real weight to that when viewers catch it,” Holland said TVLine Wednesday, November 13, about trucking in more episodes of the spinoff series. “We didn’t really want to make it a big deal, but when Young Sheldon ended and we started this show, the transportation department. [at Warner Bros.] asked us, ‘Do you want to keep this truck or throw it away?’ And we were like, ‘No, we should definitely keep it.'”

“It makes sense that Georgie would drive that truck,” Holland continued. “It’s his dad’s truck, and he has an emotional connection to it, so it just seemed like the right thing to do.”
In addition to the car, Georgie & Mandy’s First Wedding returned to key locations like the Bluebell Diner, Nate’s Roadhouse and more in the Thanksgiving episode airing Thursday, November 14.
“There are pieces [each set] original, but had to be re-arranged to work for multiple cameras,” said Holland. “Obviously, in Young Sheldonit was a complete set with four walls. We even had to redo the McAllister living room because of where it was [front] the door was there.”
He concluded by saying: “It didn’t last that long [The] big Bang [Theory] – it was only five years – but to be, like, ‘Oh, right, everything has to play on the proscenium now’ was exciting. We had to find these episodes [from Young Sheldon] and make them feel like they are the same set.”

“I love them all, and definitely [are] come back. We just shot and wrapped episode five, and a bunch [Young Sheldon] academics were there for that,” he quipped of Perry and Potts, who play Mary Cooper and Meemaw, respectively. “We did a thanksgiving episode with everyone and it was heaven.”
Jones, 55, expressed his hope that the actors from The Big Bang Theory the franchise continues to show interest in returning to the screen.
“If Meemaw and Audrey could get into it, that would make me very happy because I love Annie Potts more than anyone in the world,” he continued. “It would be great fun to continue playing with him. And we were promised their presence since it’s a small town, so you can’t run away from all those residents.”
Georgie & Mandy’s First Wedding airs on CBS Thursdays at 8 pm ET. Episodes are available to stream on Paramount+ the following day.
