Kelly Cutrone Slams Maks Chmerkovskiy For His Criticism Of Anna Delvey

A famous fashion blogger, who is a friend of hers Anna Delveytook to his Instagram Stories on Monday, September 23, to criticize Chmerkovskiy’s criticism of Delvey’s Dancing with the Stars debut. Cutrone posted a screenshot of a TMZ article that quoted Chmerkovskiy calling Delvey a “s–y dancer.”
“I thought this meant SEXY!!!” the 58-year-old wrote, tagging Chmerkovskiy. “Are you saying Sassy or are you upset that you can’t get on the show and have to attack someone? No one cares about your opinion.”

Earlier on Monday, Chmerkovskiy, 44, who was DWTS pro, appeared on the “TMZ Podcast” and criticized his ABC alma mater for casting Delvey, 33, a convicted felon.
“To me, [Delvey’s] The employee was a professional liar,” he told the outlet, adding, “You’re going to bring that person down [on stage] and say, ‘Here’s a platform that many people have waited their entire careers to be a part of,’ to get a moment of personal story [where they] he can say, ‘This is who I really am.’ Will I believe anything this lady says? Not at all.”
With blunt honesty, he judged Delvey’s system as “bad” and “a big kind of stand-up.”
“You can blame the nerves and say, ‘Hey, everyone is human and this person hasn’t gotten used to that category.’ Bulls-,” he said. “Wait a minute – didn’t he trick people into believing, like, you’re doing this and you’re special like that? Delvey was famously arrested in 2017 and charged with multiple counts of fraud and misdemeanor theft. He was released from prison on parole in 2021 and placed under house arrest one year later after being arrested for overstaying his visa.
Delvey’s DWTS partner, Ezra Sosa, he defended his Mondaysaying, “I know what he did was really controversial and wrong, and I will never forgive him or anyone in his life.
