Jennifer Hale Wants Mass Effect Voice Cast To Be In The Game
A few months ago, Prime Video got the ball rolling on television Mass Effect. For fans, the cast of each game’s team is a fascinating part of the franchise—so much so that Jennifer Hale, who voiced the female version of Commander Shepard, thinks the show should include them.
Speaking to Eurogamer, Hale said he would be down to return and reprise Shepard “in any way,” including a fifth game. BioWare is currently in development. Both he and fellow Shepard actor Mark Meer spoke highly of the original trilogy, and he still has a love for the sci-fi RPG franchise. His biggest question for the show, besides making him the canonical version of Shepard? He made him and other voice actors from the games to appear on the show to some extent. For him, the upcoming series should “draw more from the original [Mass Effect] throws in lots of cameos, Easter eggs, and repeats or regulars [roles] as possible. I think it would be a smart move.”
Since last summer, video game voice actors have been hitting triple-A studios like Rockstar and WB Games. Despite their voices being so important to the game’s characters, not all voice actors are included in their live action or animated adaptations. There are exceptions like this our last’ lead in the HBO show or Reed Shannon voicing Ekko in the Arcane again Legends of Runeterra, but usually there are big names taking those roles. Hale believes in putting Great Result inclusion in this upcoming adaptation could help highlight a community full of “some of the smartest actors I’ve ever met,” and whether it’s him or someone else entering that show, he’s ready for “a smart production company that stops underestimating.” that’s my golden one.”
Fortunately for Hale, Mass Effect’s Longtime producer Mike Gamble will be involved with the show. So if that’s the case it does finally joining Shepard and his friends in any position, he can help find a way for him and other actors like Brandon Keener (Garrus) or Tricia Helfer (EDI) to be in the scene or give their voices, even if it’s just to say. this is their favorite shop in Citadel.
