Jennie Garth Stays With Ex-Husband Peter Facinelli Amidst LA Fires

Jennie Garth dependent on his ex, Peter Facinelliin difficult times.

Garth, 52, took to Instagram on Thursday, January 9, to share that he and his family are staying with Facinelli, 51, after evacuating their Los Angeles home due to the ongoing wildfires in the area.

“This hurts everyone. I feel bad. Deep sorrow today. My family and I are safe. Our home won the night and we feel blessed and lucky and fortunate,” Garth he said in a video to his 1.3 million followers. “I just pray for everyone. We are, so we are lucky that many people were not injured or trapped in the fire.”

I Beverly Hills, 90210 alum shared that she and her husband, Dave Abramsthey were planning to go back to their home and she thanked her husband for letting them sleep. “Think we’re going back to our house. It’s messy but it’s okay. It’s still there,” he said.

Garth continued, “I’m so grateful to Peter for letting us stay at his house—me and all the girls, and the dogs and Dave.”

Garth and Facinelli first met in 1995 and were married from 2001 to 2013. They share three older daughters, Luca27, Lola22, again Fiona18. Garth married actor Abrams in 2015. Facinelli, meanwhile, is engaged to an actress Lily Anne Harrisonwith whom he shares son Jack, 2.

Garth also thanked his ex in the caption of his Instagram, writing, “I just wanted to let you know that we are safe. Peter and his family have welcomed us and have been so kind. I am so sad for our town and I feel numb.”

“Our house was saved but there is a lot to clean up and we are ready to be diligent to help our neighbors and friends and fellow Angelinos,” the actress continued, adding that her husband “has been moving all our bags and boxes, loading and unloading.”

“I’m thankful we’re all alive and have a home to go back to,” added Garth.

Wildfires started across Los Angeles on Tuesday, January 7, and continued until Thursday, destroying the Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Santa Monica and Hollywood Hills. The stars included Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal again Miles Teller they lost their homes because of the fire.
