Israeli media, including YNET and Haaretz, have reported that Israel has partially accepted the US-backed ceasefire proposal.

Lebanon and the militant group Hezbollah reportedly agreed to the deal last week, but both sides need to give the final OK before it can happen.

The reported ceasefire agreement comes after Hezbollah launched its largest-ever rocket attack on Israel in exchange for Israeli military strikes on Hezbollah bases in Beirut.
