Step 1

Start by drawing a small circle at the top of your page. At about the center of the circle, draw and shade two small dots that will be the snowman’s eyes. Once the eyes are complete, draw a small triangle on the side to act as the snowman’s carrot nose. Finally, add a small U shape for the mouth.

Step 2

Now we are going to give our snowman cute little earmuffs. Draw a squiggly earmuff on the left side of the snowman’s head and repeat on the other side. Next, draw a line that goes up and over the person’s head connecting the two sides of the earmuffs.

Step 3

Time to add the snowman’s body! First, we’ll give him a scarf to keep him warm. From the bottom left of his head, draw a small squiggly line and connect it across to the bottom right of his head. Add vertical lines in the center of the scarf for texture/pattern. Starting from the left side of the scarf, draw a circular shape that will form the body of the snowman. It should be twice as big as the head. Finally, add two small dots in the middle for buttons.

Step 4

Every snowman needs arms! Draw a diagonal line going up and out of the snowman’s body on both sides. Then, add three short lines from each arm. The fingers should start right around the ears of the snowman. Now we will finish the scarf with two small blocks that come out from the bottom right of the scarf. The smaller one is meant to show depth and appear behind the larger one. Finally, add a fringe to the scarf bases and a few horizontal lines to the large block.

Step 2

Draw a thin line on the inside of the top part of the snowman’s head that will be under his winter hat. Then, create a triangle shape that tilts to the right and culminates in a point. Add a few horizontal lines from one side of the hat to the other. Finally, add a cute little pom-pom on top.

Step 2

Once the head is drawn, draw an oval slanting to the left that will serve as the beginning of the snowman’s top hat. It should go over the top of the head. Then, draw a slightly overlapping rectangle inside the slanted overlap. This will create a small horizontal rectangle. Print everything except this small rectangle.
