With the rise of pop culture consumers around the world who stream podcasts like music, TV and film, companies like Spotify, SiriusXM and Amazon are willing to pay big bucks to secure top talent.
Only in August 2024, the host of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast Alex Cooper signed a major deal with SiriusXM. In addition, NFL players Jason Kelce again Travis Kelce signed a reported 9-person deal to continue their “New Heights” podcast.

Founder of Barstool Sports Dave Portnoy shared information of Grace O’MalleyHis previous salary is in January 2025, after leaving the media company.
Portnoy said in a TikTok video that O’Malley’s salary was $175,000 and he received 70 percent of “whatever we were able to sell” through his social media accounts.
“He got another $75,000 in 2024 that way,” he said. “I think we have managed – as I said from the beginning – Grace is great.”

In August 2024, news broke that the “Call Her Daddy” podcast host had signed a deal with SiriusXM, giving the platform exclusive advertising and distribution rights, as well as other content and events. Jason and Travis Kelce
Less than two weeks before the NFL officially kicks off its 2024 regular season, the Kelce brothers have signed a nine-figure deal with podcast studio Wondery for the rights to their popular “New Heights” podcast, according to a published report. The Hollywood Reporter.
The deal is said to include worldwide distribution rights to the popular podcast, representation of ad sales, rights to past episodes and the right to launch global podcast adaptations.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Wondery in the next installment of ‘New Heights,'” Travis and Jason said in a statement posted to the store. “Wondery understands the shared vision and will contribute a wealth of experience and resources to take us to ‘New Heights!’ We will create important moments together through this relationship.”
Dax Shepard
Amazon’s podcast company Wondery has inked an exclusive distribution and ad sales deal for “Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard” in July 2024. The deal called Wondery and An “Armchair Expert” to develop and produce two new podcasts and one live stream per year for fans.
The deal also includes a preview option for any new podcasts created by actor Shepard. Financial terms were not announced, however The Wall Street Journal he said the deal is worth $80 million.
Joe Rogan
In February 2024, the host of the podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” and Spotify entered into a new agreement worth 250 million dollars, according to the report. The Wall Street Journal. The deal will allow the show on other platforms after its 4-year exclusive run on Spotify.
Under the license agreement, Spotify will also sell ads and distribute “The Joe Rogan Experience” across all podcast platforms, including the video format on YouTube.
Sean Hayes, Will Arnett and Jason Bateman
In January 2024, the cast moved from Amazon to take their “SmartLess” podcast to SiriusXM in a three-year deal reportedly worth $100 million.
