Our Archives is down again, and fans are freaking out

Our Archive (AO3) went down again, leaving dozens of fan fiction fans without the escape they needed for the second time in two days. They handled it as expected.

Reports that popular fan fiction forum AO3 was having trouble breaking out earlier Sunday evening, as thousands of readers found themselves cut off from their favorite slow-burning foes to coffee shop lovers AUs. Crowdsourced outage tracker Down Detector (which has the same parent company as Mashable) started receiving outage reports from around 5.30 pm EST / 2.30 pm PST.

AO3 soon he agreed to stop in its official X account for a status update, saying they were “looking into some issues that are causing 503 errors for some people.” The issue was resolved within an hour— though not before many readers took to social media to beg for their money, wondering when their beloved AO3 would return to battle.
