Horror Made-for-TV Movie Banned After Tragic Death

The BBC broadcast Ghostwatch on Halloween night in 1992. The production team put together the film as if it were one of the channel’s live documentaries. To make this even more believable for viewers at home, Ghostwatch starring Michael Parkinson, Mike Smith, Craig Charles, and Sarah Green – all well-known BBC presenters – to lead the extraordinary investigation.

Ghostwatch centers on four executives who investigate the abuse of two English girls, Kim and Suzanne Early, by a ghost called Pipes. Pipes was the ghost of a deceased child molester. Throughout the film, furniture moves on its own, and children are shown with scratch marks.
