Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is reported to have heard nothing from Manchester United officials after Sir Jim Ratcliffe and other officials met in London to discuss the manager’s future.

After several poor performances this season, concerns have been raised among Manchester United management about recent results.

Erik ten Hag has been adamant that he can turn the club around and believes he has the support of Dan Ashworth and the Manchester United board.

There was speculation after the Aston Villa game that the tough meeting in London was crucial in deciding the Ajax manager’s future.

However, Manchester United has been silent since this meeting which left many wondering how much support the Dutchman still has in the team.

It was expected that if they had decided to fire Ten Hag an announcement would follow.

With the current silence, it is reported that Ten Hag is preparing for the Brentford game after the international break.

Fabrizio Romano says INEOS is still discussing Ten Hag’s future

Despite the expectation that Ten Hag will remain as Manchester United manager, Fabrizio Romano has given an important update on the INEOS situation for the Dutch coach.

Speaking on his YouTube page, Romano said: “Erik ten Hag has not received anything that affects his future at INEOS.

“Ten Hag is still calm and preparing for the match against Brentford.

“The team is still negotiating internally – the situation is tense.”
