NFL fans may have just experienced the best “Thursday Night Football” game in recent memory.
The Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals duked it out in what looked like a Madden game, and it was the Ravens who came away with a 35-34 victory in what was an instant classic on their home turf.
After Ja’Marr Chase’s 70-yard touchdown run tied the game with about five and a half minutes left, the Bengals threw away what would have been a huge touchdown, and with a second down, Baltimore took advantage, as Lamar Jackson found it. Rashod Bateman with 1:49 to go for a 35-28 lead.

Joe Burrow, however, marched down the field, and found Chase with 38 seconds left for his third touchdown of the night — their first a 67-yard score.
Cincy was aggressive all night, and this was no different, as the offense stayed on the field for two passes. But, passing to Tanner Hudson (while Chase had 11 catches for 264 yards and three touchdowns) is completely absent. The scouts may have missed a bad call and a defensive pass interference, but alas. Cincy attempted an onside kick, but the Ravens recovered, only to end a classic fast game.
A total of 34 points were scored in the fourth quarter alone.
Early in the fourth quarter and trailing 21-14, Tylan Wallace sat just short of an 84-yard field goal – but Justin Tucker missed the PAT, leaving the Bengals up. On 4th and 2 on their next drive from the opponents 34, they opted to go for it, and a deep pass fell incomplete, giving the Ravens the ball with more than nine minutes left.
The Ravens took advantage, as Lamar Jackson found a freshman Mark Andrews for a touchdown, and the quarterback ran in a two-point conversion to make it 28-21 Baltimore. But the next play was that 70-yard score by Chase.

The Bengals scored on their first drive of the game, after the defense held a fourth-and-goal to give them an automatic first down at the 1-yard line; Chase Brown finished the job to put Cincy up 7-0. Baltimore responded quickly, as Lamar Jackson found Nelson Agholor to tie the game. Both offenses stalled, but late in the first half, Joe Burrow found Tanner Hudson for a layup to give Cincinnati a 14-7 lead heading into the locker room.
The aforementioned 67-yard touchdown gave the Bengals a two-point lead early in the third quarter, but two drives later, Cincinnati fumbled, and the Ravens took advantage, with who else but Derrick Henry scoring on a one-yard run to seal the win. one more game.
The reigning MVP in Jackson completed 25 of 33 passes for 290 yards and four touchdowns, all to different receivers. Burrow’s 428 yards and four scores came in a tough loss, as the Bengals’ defense also couldn’t contain the offense.
In the first game between the teams this season, Baltimore won, 41-38.

It’s now two straight wins for the 7-3 Ravens after a tough road loss to the Cleveland Browns – on the other hand, Cincy dropped to 4-6 due to their struggles against their rivals.
Baltimore will head to Pittsburgh for another matchup in Week 11, while Cincy will head to Los Angeles to face the Chargers.
