According to Diego Martínez Belío, Secretary of State for Foreign and International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation of Spain, this forum has been an important platform to promote an inclusive dialogue to address the pressing challenges of the world since it was founded in 2014.
Danilo Türk, President of the World Leadership Alliance – Club de Madrid and President of Slovenia (2007-2012), emphasized that ISIF is a platform for building trust and promoting mutual understanding. Through open, inclusive, and honest people-to-people dialogue, we aim to strengthen international cooperation and address the challenges we all share. “At a time when trust is fragile and cooperation ineffective, ISIF serves as a good bridge. It connects people, ideas, and solutions with the long-term desire to make multilateralism work for everyone,” he added.
Currently, unprecedented changes in the century are accelerating, global governance is facing complex situations, and the international order is at a critical crossroads.
