Martin Short’s appearance is on The Tonight Show begins with Short’s usual roasting of the host (“You should be really happy, because in one month you’re going to be forgiven for your role on January 6,” he tells Fallon) and Loner Criminals in the Building star Steve Martin (“He’s coming into Christmas – he’s already hung up his compression stockings carefully”).
