CVS pulls down photos of executives amid manhunt for United Healthcare CEO’s killer

CVS Health has released photos of its executives on its website as the manhunt for the killer of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson continues.
The company confirmed to FOX Business on Friday that all photos of its senior leadership have been removed. CVS declined to comment further.
UnitedHealthcare’s leadership page has also been taken down, with the URL now redirected to the company’s homepage.

The move comes as the health care industry is on alert after Thompson was shot outside a midtown Manhattan hotel on Wednesday, in what police called a “premeditated, targeted attack.”
The Hilton was hosting UnitedHealth Group annual investor conference, and police said Thompson had been in town from Minnesota since Monday and lives across the street.

Police are still trying to find the killer and are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Although the NYPD has not disclosed a possible motive behind this murder, it is the largest in the country insurance company it began to be criticized months ago. In particular, it faces scrutiny for allegedly unfairly denying claims.
