At least 21 killed as Israel renews strikes in Gaza | Israel attacks Lebanon News

At least seven people were killed after Israeli forces stormed a school that housed displaced people in Gaza City.
The Israeli military has carried out a series of airstrikes in Gaza that have killed at least 21 people, local officials reported.
Tuesday’s attack came as the fighting in central Palestine escalated and raids hit the West Bank. The resurgence of violence in the Palestinian territories comes as the world’s attention is drawn to the Israeli military’s offensive in Lebanon.
It has been confirmed that 13 people, including women and children, were killed in a nighttime attack on two houses in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, Wafa media reported. A number of people were also injured in this attack.
The Israeli military did not comment on the strike, but in a statement it said the airstrikes on what used to be a school in Gaza City were aimed at Hamas soldiers working at the command center.
It accused Hamas in its statement of using civilians and resources for military purposes. Hamas has consistently denied such allegations amid the war that began last October.
The Palestinian Civil Defense in Gaza said the former Shujayea school was sheltering Palestinian families who fled their homes, and that at least seven people had died.
Two other Israeli attacks killed five Palestinians in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip and in Zeitoun in Gaza City. And in Khan Younis, south of the enclave, six people were killed in a strike on tents for the homeless, medics said, although the incidents have not been confirmed.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the armed wing of Hamas, and other smaller opposition groups said in separate statements that their forces attacked Israeli military positions in Gaza with anti-tank rockets, fire, and explosives.
The attack on the West Bank continues
Israeli forces also continue to conduct violent raids in the West Bank, which have led to the arrest of at least 15 people, according to Wafa.
In Nablus, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said a 25-year-old man died of injuries after being shot by soldiers in the thigh and stomach in the Balata refugee camp.
Meanwhile, the city council of Kafr Nima, via Facebook, urged residents not to send students to school due to the presence of Israeli soldiers in the town.
Israeli forces have been attacking the West Bank since the war in Gaza began about a year ago. At least 719 people have been killed and more than 10,000 arrested since October 7.
The Houthis target Israel
As Israel says its offensive continues in Lebanon, Yemen’s Houthis appear to be stepping up their operations.
The Iran-backed group launched airstrikes on Israel-bound Tel Aviv and Eilat on Tuesday, the group’s military spokesman Yahya Saree said in a televised address.
On Sunday, Israel launched air strikes on the Yemeni city of Hodeidah, after the Houthis reported a missile attack on Ben Gurion International Airport.
Since November, the Houthis have launched several attacks on Israel in coordination with the Palestinians, including strikes on ships linked to Israel.
Two ships were damaged after being hit by missiles and a seaplane off the Yemeni port of Hodeidah on Tuesday morning, maritime security officials and sources monitoring the area said.
There is no immediate claim to make this attack.
