Dave Portnoy Calls Zach Bryan ‘Scumbag’ After Brianna’s Claims

Founder of Barstool Sports Dave Portnoy He doesn’t mince words when it comes to his anger Zach Bryan.

“My Dawg of the week is that sad episode of Zach Bryan,” Portnoy, 47, wrote via X on Saturday, November 9, sharing photos from Barstool’s College Football Radio.

He repeated these words while recording.

“If you have his music on his phone, please f— get it off,” Portnoy said. “This guy is a piece of s- and you should have absolutely nothing to do with him. He is very bad.”

Bryan, 28, recently broke up with an employee at Portnoy’s Barstool Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPagliawho said she was blindsided by his decision to end their relationship.

Earlier this week, LaPaglia, 25, went on her and Portnoy’s “BFFs” podcast to chart the course of her relationship with the country star. The promoter said he turned down Bryan’s $12 million check to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

“The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with this man’s abuse,” LaPaglia said in a podcast episode on Thursday, November 7. “I’m still scared because I’m still afraid of him. My mind has been rewired. I’m afraid to mix him up.”

He added, “I kept showing up where I shouldn’t have, and I kept loving and giving when I shouldn’t have. That’s a problem for me. If you don’t get the love you give you, you have to leave and I think this is a blessing because who knows how long I would have stayed and how long I would have faced this time -.”

Portnoy and the “BFF” podcaster. Josh Richards have been strong on “Team Bri” since their split. They even wrote a song called “Smallest Man” in honor of Bryan, which Portnoy performed on Saturday.

“How lucky is Bri to be free of ZB?” he sang during a college football broadcast. “And all her STDs.”

Portnoy later added, “Get it! He’s disgusting.”

Bryan has never publicly addressed any of LaPaglia’s or Portnoy’s allegations but previously said the breakup was “beneficial” for both parties.

“Brianna and I are separated and I respect and love her with all my heart. He has loved me unconditionally for so long and for that, I will always be grateful,” Bryan wrote in an Instagram Story statement in October. “I’ve had a very difficult year personally and faced very difficult things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our separate ways. I am not perfect and I will never be perfect.”
