Chris Martin shared a sweet reason why she rode with Apple’s daughter Le Bal Des Débutantes.
Martin, 47, told Rolling Stone in a statement published on Thursday, December 19, that going to the party “wasn’t something I ever thought I’d do, but because I love him so much, I’m like, ‘OK.'”
While at the ball, Martin shared a slow dance with Apple as part of his official introduction to society. Martin was seen smiling and laughing while dancing and talking to his daughter while scrolling, according to a TikTok shared by Paris Match. Apple smiled at that.
The ball, held in Paris, was a way to spend time with the rest of his family. (Martin’s son, Moses, is now in college but attended the event with his mother, Gwyneth Paltrowand grandma, Blythe Danner.)
“A special long weekend in Paris ,” Paltrow, 52, captioned photos from the Dec. 1 event.
When he thought about his life as a child with nothing, Martin said Rolling Stone that it is “sad.” He added, “That’s the only name. But it would be weird if they were like, ‘I can’t go.’ Then you will be very worried.”
Martin celebrated that he “loves” his children very much. “Even though they’re not naturally mine — I’m breaking the story now,” Martin joked. “My new favorite thing to embarrass my son is, when we’re walking down the street and someone comes up to us and says, ‘I’m sorry to disturb you, you’re still with your son,’ and I say, ‘That’s not my son.’ That’s my partner.’”
Martin laughed, before adding, “Yeah. I love them so much. I think they are mine, to be fair.”
The Coldplayer singer was married to Paltrow for more than 10 years before they separated in 2014 and finalized their divorce two years later. Since then they have been open about their dedication to breeding their children.
“Chris and I are committed to prioritizing and that’s harder than it looks because some days you don’t really want to be with someone you’re breaking up with,” Paltrow said during an appearance in September 2020. The Drew Barrymore Show. “But if you’re serious about having a family dinner, you do. You take a deep breath, and you look the person in the eye, and you remember your agreement, and you smile, and you hug and you commit to this new relationship that you’re trying to develop. “
Paltrow has moved on Brad Falchukwhom she married in 2018, when Martin was dating Dakota Johnson since 2017.
