The Nintendo Switch OLED model is $50 off right now

Fall is officially here, and it’s time to cozy up on the couch with some tea and a portable game console. If you’re looking for a new one or haven’t picked one up yet, check out the Nintendo Switch OLED. The device currently retails for $300, down from $350 — a 14 percent discount. Markings are available on Woot for five days or while supplies last. Amazon owns Woot, so premium members get free standard shipping (although Amazon’s return policy doesn’t apply).
The Nintendo Switch OLED came out in 2021 as a slight upgrade to the original 2017 model. We gave the 89 in our review because of improvements like its 7-inch OLED screen, up from 6.2 inches. It also has better battery life, which is more efficient pushing its battery life to around seven hours rather than four to five. Also, its shape makes tabletop mode easy to use.

The big caveat here is that the Nintendo Switch 2 should be – stressed it should – will be out soon. Rumors have circulated for years about a second-generation console, but most signs point to an announcement before the end of the month. This is all speculation, of course, so it’s your choice whether to take this deal or wait and see what Nintendo can do. Remember that The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom it will be out later this week.
