Jamie Foxx slams Satan after birthday dinner altercation

Jamie Foxx thanked his fans for their support and criticized Satan following the altercation in Beverly Hills on Friday.
Foxx, 57, wrote on Instagram that “the devil is busy … but I’m blessed to be depressed,” two days after he was injured while celebrating his birthday with friends at celebrity favorite restaurant Mr. Chow.
The Academy Award-winning actor needed medical attention and received stitches after a stranger threw a glass at another table, hitting Foxx in the mouth.
“The devil is a liar,” Foxx captioned a post shared on Instagram Sunday morning.

Authorities from the Beverly Hills Police Department responded to an assault with a deadly weapon shortly after 10 p.m. Friday at a popular restaurant on Camden Drive, according to a release obtained by Fox News Digital.

After an investigation, the police found that the assault with a deadly weapon was “unfounded,” but an incident involving “a dispute between parties” was found. No one has been arrested, the police said that the investigation is still ongoing.

“I was fighting for my life,” Foxx said of the experience when doctors told him he had a brain bleed that led to a stroke. “On April 11, I had a headache and I asked my boyfriend for aspirin… before I got the aspirin… I went out. I don’t remember 20 days.”

At the time of the medical scare, Foxx was in Atlanta working with Cameron Diaz on their Netflix movie, “Back in Action.” He received care at a hospital in Georgia, and returned to normal in January 2024.
