Broncos running back Tyler Badie’s mother breaks her silence after son’s fall

The mother of Denver Broncos running back Tyler Badie broke her silence after her son collapsed on the sideline during Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.

Tanjala T. Gipson, MD, posted a photo to X on Sunday showing a T-shirt supporting runners with the Bible verse Jeremiah 29:11. This verse read as follows: ” ‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says Jehovah, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

“This photo was taken just before today’s game,” Gipson wrote on X. “God was good then, and God is good now. We may not know what the future holds, but we know Who is in charge of the future. Thank you so much for your prayers for our son Tyler Badie.”

Broncos head coach Sean Payton did not have an update on Badie after the team beat the Jets 10-9 in their Week 4 game.

However, Pro Football Talk reported that Badie had full range of motion in his extremities and is expected to be fine. He was diagnosed with a back injury when he left the game.
