Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025: PM Modi launches second edition of auto expo, more than 100 cars launched
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (Friday, January 17, 2025) launched the second edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, a six-day event featuring more than 100 launches across vehicles, components, and advanced mobility technologies.
The theme of this year’s expo, “Beyond Boundaries: Co-creating Future Automotive Value Chain”, highlights the focus on sustainable and advanced technology. The action will take place across three major venues: Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, and the India Expo Center & Mart in Greater Noida.
The event will bring together the entire mobility ecosystem under one roof. From auto majors to parts manufacturers, tire makers, energy storage manufacturers, software developers, and even material recyclers—everyone will participate in the extravaganza.
Auto Expo returns to Pragati Maidan
In a much-anticipated move, the bi-annual Auto Expo is returning to Pragati Maidan, after a decade of being hosted at Greater Noida’s India Expo Centre. Now an integral part of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, it is set to delight visitors with cutting-edge innovations.
The event is organized with the support of the Ministry of Trade and Industry and top industry bodies such as SIAM, ACMA, IESA, ATMA, ICEMA, Nasscom, and more. With more than 5,100 international delegates and an expected number of 5 lakh visitors, the show promises to be one of the biggest gatherings of the year.
Electric cars are coming to the fore
Electric vehicles (EVs) will be the star attraction of this year’s show. Maruti Suzuki is preparing to unveil its first EV, the eVITARA SUV, while Hyundai will debut the much-awaited Creta EV. Luxury car manufacturers Mercedes-Benz and BMW will also feature, showcasing models such as the EQS Maybach SUV and the BMW i7.
In the EV segment alone, more than 40 new products are expected to be launched, underscoring India’s rapid shift to electric mobility.
It shows parts and construction equipment
The Components Show, which takes place from January 18 to 21 in Yashobhoomi, will have more than a thousand visitors from seven countries, including Japan, Germany and South Korea. Five dedicated country panels and participants from the US, Israel, and Thailand will unveil more than 60 new products and technologies.
Meanwhile, the Bharat Construction Equipment Expo (Bharat CE Expo), a first-of-its-kind event, will run from January 19 to 22 at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. It will focus on the innovation of construction materials, with participation from component manufacturers, suppliers, and technical solution providers.
A game changer for the future of India’s Mobility
Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is not just another industry event—it is a platform that can redefine the future of mobility in India. From EV breakthroughs to cutting-edge manufacturing technology, this event is set to charge a new course in automotive innovation.
