Baron Corbin Says Taylor Swift Makes Chiefs Suite Nations ‘Like Family’

Lifelong Kansas City Chiefs fan Baron Corbin he was surprised to join Taylor Swift to her boyfriend Travis KelceGame day suite.

“[Travis and I] we’re like buds now,” said former WWE star Corbin, 40, on the Thursday, January 23, episode of the “Insight With Chris Van Vliet” podcast, noting that he and Kelce reconnected at a local charity event, the Big Slick. KC. “He’s like, ‘Yo, come to the game. Let me treat you to a game [and] stay in my house.’ He’s like, ‘I have a bedroom there.'”

Corbin (real name Tom Pestock) eventually took Kelce, 35, up on his offer and invited his uncle and brother to watch the game in 2024.

“So, we left [and] they took us to the suite, then [either my uncle or my brother] it was like, ‘I wonder if Taylor will be here,’ and as they say, she was [walking] in the room,” Corbin recalled. “My brother is a little confused and goes to everyone, hugs them [and] He hugged us like we were family right away.”

Swift, 35, and Chiefs tight end Kelce have been dating since the summer of 2023, just before he started attending his football games. His presence often creates a frenzy at his home Arrowhead Stadium, in the offseason and on the Internet.

“It was crazy because I was [felt] like I was in a fishing boat and I wanted out of the suite,” Corbin admitted. “It’s just crowds of people taking selfies with Taylor who is there. I’ve never had someone like that. .. Different dimensions. He felt as if everyone in the stadium was staring at him because he was standing behind him.”

Despite the Swiftie pandemonium, Corbin still finds the pop star “super dope and super humble.”

“[I] had conversations with him,” he recalled Thursday, noting that Swift doesn’t have a big team with him. “He came in, like maybe his bodyguard. However, there is no group. All of Kelce’s friends are from high school and home. They are all very cool; they’re all humble and nobody’s arrogant, but Taylor’s super dope.”

After the game, Corbin and his relatives also received an invitation to Swift and Kelce’s joint holiday party.

“Travis threw a little Christmas party [and] we sat down,” said Corbin. “[She was] super dope. … He’s just a normal person [who] he’s probably the most influential person in the world right now and he’s incredibly talented, he writes all his stuff. It’s refreshing to see someone like that.”

Swift, who recently attended Kelce’s sectional playoff game on January 19, has also been vocal about supporting her boyfriend’s NFL success.
