Actress fires Prince Harry and Meghan Markle over embarrassing “photo op”.
Wildfire relief efforts by Britain’s Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have failed, according to an angry Hollywood actor-turned-producer.
“Family Ties” star Justine Bateman, who has voiced her disapproval of Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass in the wake of the Southern California wildfire disaster, has criticized the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for what she believes is the image’s “insensitivity.” ” at the victim evacuation center.
“Meghan Markle and Harry are no better than ambulance chasers,” the unstable 58-year-old Bateman wrote to X, formerly of Twitter, on Saturday evening. “What a disgusting ‘photo op’ they achieved.”

“They’re looking at the damage?” he asked, referring to the media photos he reposted on social media. “Are they politicians now? They don’t live here; they are tourists. Disaster tourists.”

Video captured by Fox 11 in Los Angeles showed Harry and Markle in Pasadena on Friday, meeting with the city’s mayor, Victor Gordo.
Fox News Digital also learned that Prince Harry and Markle opened their home to friends and family who were forced to evacuate, and donated clothing, baby items and other essentials to help the affected community.

Dozens of users agreed with Bateman’s assessment of the royals, applauding his honesty. Others praised the couple for their generosity.
Bateman continued to criticize California officials and their handling of the wildfires. Speaking to Jesse Watters on Friday, Bateman, who lives in the Hollywood Hills, said he was “pretty —ed” about the state of his city. “If you’re going to run a city, or run a state, you have to take care of the basics. And that [to] make sure your fire and police department[s] they are well supported.”
“If you’re not doing everything you can to solve those problems when they come up, get out. You’re not doing us any good,” he said.

A representative for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
According to California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, there are three fires burning in Los Angeles: i The Palisades Fire (11% contained), the Eaton Fire (27% contained) and the Hurst Fire (89% contained.) More than 12,300 structures were destroyed.
As of Sunday afternoon, the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner reported that 16 people died as a result of the fire.
