Acting Harris recounts firsthand the ‘huge tragedy’ of losing to Trump on election night

DNC National Finance Committee member and Harris campaign fundraiser, Lindy Li, analyzed what went wrong with Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign that led to a “massive disaster” against President-elect Donald Trump this week.
Li told Fox & Friends Weekend host Will Cain on Saturday that there were several factors that cost the campaign in his opinion, including Biden’s choice of Harris as his running mate, the Harris campaign’s overconfidence in their polling data, and former President Obama’s delay in authorizing the polls. vice president as the Democratic candidate.
“The truth is, this is a huge disaster – this is a $1 billion disaster,” said Li on Saturday morning, summarizing the outcome of the Harris campaign.

DNC member Lindy Li talks to Fox & Friends Weekend about why Harris’ campaign ended in such a “disaster.”
The official of the Democratic Party began by suggesting that Harris being the nominee was a bad decision that was encouraged by President Biden to use the party’s opportunities to get revenge on Trump by pushing him out of office.
He pointed out that if Trump was an “existential threat” to America, as the Democrats used to say, they should have had a process to vote for Biden’s successor, “instead of appointing someone.”
“I actually think President Biden, you know, his whole endorsement thirty minutes after he came out, I think it was a big F for you in the party,” he said.
“Are you suggesting that you hold an event with Kamala Harris?” Cain asked. He replied, “I like to attach it to a man.”
Insisting that he was not paying anyone in the Democratic Alliance, Li told Cain that he was there to give the “truth” about what happened with the campaign, which he called a “disaster.” He said Harris’ campaign raised $18 billion to lose.
A DNC member noted that he raised campaign funds based on the understanding that the election was “a race of mistakes.”
“I raised millions from that. I have friends to answer to and explain what happened because I told them it was the race’s fault. I was promised – [Harris campaign chair] Jen O’Malley Dillon promised us all that Harris would win. He even posted videos that Harris will win. I believed him, my sponsors believed him so they wrote big checks. “

“I just, I feel like a lot of us have been misled,” Li said, elsewhere telling Cain that he wonders if the campaign “goes with internal numbers that I can’t see” to explain their confidence.
Cain then asked Li about how the Obama family played into the outcome of the Harris campaign.
“I want to point out that they waited three days – Michelle and Barack Obama waited three days to endorse Kamala Harris,” Li replied. “There was a silence that was heard around the world.”
He suggested that this delay happened because the Obamas themselves had never planned to allow Harris until Biden forced their hand. “And before Biden’s endorsement, which no one really expected, they were spying on people [Arizona Senator] Mark Kelly. Kamala Harris was not at the top of the ticket.”
Also blaming Biden’s endorsement of vandalism, he concluded, “I think it was a big F for you of all people.”
