Elon Musk has said his role in Trump’s executive department will be ‘transformational’.

Billionaire Elon Musk joined President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday at the annual America First Policy Institute Gala at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.
Musk, who was recently appointed to lead the incoming Trump Administration’s Office of Government Efficiency (DOGE), told the crowd on Thursday that his role is not just about business, but about “transformation” of America.
“As President Trump said, what we need is common sense,” Musk told the Mar-a-Lago crowd. “This will not be business as usual. This will be a revolution.”

Musk will lead the administration of former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy. Their roles are designed to eliminate billions of dollars in “waste and fraud” in the federal government.
“Most importantly, we will eliminate the massive waste and fraud that exists within our $6.5 trillion annual government spending cuts. They will work together to free our Economy, and make the US Government accountable ‘TO THE PEOPLE,'” Trump said at the time. announcing his intentions to name them as DOGE leaders.

RAMASWAMY’S MUSK AND DOGE OPENS HIRE AT X
Musk, the owner of X and CEO of both Tesla and SpaceX, has been part of Trump’s White House campaign and made several appearances at rallies before the election.
Trump said Musk and Ramaswamy will help “destroy the Business Bureaucracy, reduce excessive regulations, reduce wasteful spending, and reorganize Federal Agencies.”

The president-elect added that Musk and Ramaswamy will provide “advice and guidance from outside the government, and will work together the White House and the Office of Management and Budget to continue major structural changes, and create an unprecedented entrepreneurial approach to Government.”
