‘Chicago Fire’, ‘Chicago PD’ and ‘Chicago Med’ Plot Crossover Episode
Chicago Fire, Chicago PD again Chicago Med they will reportedly be filming their first crossover episode in five years.
According to a new report published by TVLine Wednesday, November 13, the One from Chicago the franchise is planning a one-night event, which will run later this season. The story will reportedly focus on a major explosion in an office building that will require the assistance of the city’s fire department, police and medical departments.

Talking to Forbes in 2019, The Chicago Fire Executive producer Derek Haus shared details on the plot of the crossover episode, titled “Infection.”
He pointed out that inspiration happened after the One from Chicago the creator of the franchise, Dick Wolf, injured his foot and was at risk of infection.
“At the first dinner of this, Dick said, ‘I want to do a biological weapons story, like a flesh-eating bacteria,’ and I said, ‘Okkaaay,'” Haas told the outlet. “Then he said, ‘What if it happens at the Bears game,’ and I said , ‘What if we have a tailgate and we get characters from three shows and this guy just walks by and falls down and you see, oh man, this guy got hit by something.’

Hanako Greensmith, who portrays Violet Mikami in the The Chicago Fireteased details of the show’s season 13, describing it as “new”, “intense” and “scary.”
“I can say I’m new. It’s been a lot of new beginnings,” Greensmith said of the recent season. “This is propaganda, we always say, it is intense. And I would probably say it’s shocking.”
