Southern Charm’s Jarrett ‘JT’ Thomas Says He Resigned Midway through Season 10
Jarrett “JT” Thomas he says he is leaving Southern Charm during the 10th season of filming.
“It comes with a heavy heart to share that I have resigned Southern Charm,” JT, 38, wrote on Instagram on Friday, November 8. “Yesterday, I told Bravo that I will not participate in the remaining 2-3 green room interviews before. [the season] airs on 12/5.”
He added, “I’ve done about ~9 so far today. I no longer want to be involved in any way going forward with the TV show.”
JT declined to comment on his decision to leave the Bravo show and the network has not publicly commented on his exit. Us Weekly has reached the comment.

“I will leave it at that for now as I work on the next steps of physical and mental recovery from this very challenging and stressful year,” he concluded.
JT joined first Southern Charm in season 9 of 2023.
“JT is an important thorn Austen [Kroll]‘s side all year,” costar Craig Conover you are only told Us in September 2023, noting that he had been friends with JT “for a while.”
A month earlier, JT teased how he prepared for his Bravo debut.
“Knowing the camera adds 10lbs, when the show offered me a role I decided to lose 10lbs of bad weight,” JT wrote on Instagram in August 2023. “It wasn’t an easy journey but I’m so glad I did it. bc I feel happy and healthy for 10x and my diabetes is much easier to manage now without all the excess. If I can do it, so can you!”
While Craig, 35, joked Us that JT did a “good job” holding his own against the cast, clashed with Austen, 37, during the season 9 reunion.

“In Jamaica, I realized that Austen doesn’t care about anyone but her,” JT said in the January episode’s synopsis. “Deep down, you’re a selfish, insecure coward who puts me first.”
JT confronted Austen during the cast’s tropical tour, accusing her costar of being the “starter of why there’s so much pain and tears” in the group.
After a season full of back and forth barbs, Austen finally realized why JT was against her all along.
“Oh, now I get it. He’s jealous of me,” Austen told the cameras. “He wanted to Taylor [Ann Green] it’s very bad. And I get a girl. JT doesn’t want to.”
Finally, Taylor, 30, had turned down JT’s continued romantic advances. He met Austen after her breakup in 2022 Shave Rose. Taylor is now dating Gaston Rojas.
Southern Charm season 10 premieres on Bravo on Thursday, December 5 at 9 pm ET.
