Adele Says She’s ‘Slightly Deaf’ After Suffering Ear Infection

Adele He is recovering from an earache that touched his ears.

“Actually, I have an ear infection, which is actually very painful. I have never had an ear infection before,” said Adele, 36, during her concert on Friday, October 25, in Las Vegas, according to photos on social media. “It is the most painful thing that has ever happened to me in my life. It was worse than giving birth.”

According to the Grammy winner, he picked up a “rare water bacteria” while on tour in Munich this summer.

“[It] it’s hard to treat, so I was taking the wrong antibiotics for a few days,” Adele remembers. “They were able to give me one that started working. I no longer feel pain, sweet, [but] I can’t hear well in my left ear.”

Despite her hearing loss, Adele insisted there was “no way” she was “going to miss this f—ing show.”

Although Adele has not elaborated on her situation, she has previously been open about what it was like to be a first-time parent. Adele gave birth to a son Angelo, who she shared with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, in October 2012.
