Nobody Wants This starring Kristen Bell as Joanne, the sex-show host, and Adam Brody as Noah, the Rabbi. They meet at a mutual friend’s party, and sparks quickly fly, much to Noah’s family’s dismay. Like any good rom-com, there is a series of events in every episode, but the real reason to stay tuned is the chemistry between the leads.
Bell and Brody compete with each other, from their banter to their first kiss. Comedic timing and quick wit are expected from Bell, who has shown just how good he can be Nice placebut Brody, who you may remember from his first major role onwards The OCit is a revelation as a lowly people pleaser Rabbi trying to keep his life together. Even if the familiar rom-com trope of trying to hide your partner from friends and family while on vacation is invoked, Brody keeps it fresh and, best of all, funny.
