Travis Kelce had a “crazy” look in the latest episode of “New Heights” — but it turns out she just had a bet with him Patrick Mahomes.

Jason Kelce couldn’t help but burst out laughing when his younger brother Travis, 34, introduced the Wednesday, October 2, episode of the podcast while wearing a Texas Tech Red Raiders mascot hat.

“I might tell you guys why I even have this mask, and where it comes from. It’s from good ol’ Lubbock, Texas,” Travis explained. “The Texas Tech Red Raiders beat our Cincinnati Bearcats over the weekend, and Pat and I had a little fun, little bet we came up with.”

Yes, mascots were involved on both sides. If the Bearcats had won against the Red Raiders on Saturday, September 28, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback “would be at his press conference every week wearing the Bearcat mascot head.”

However, the Bearcats lost against the Red Raiders 44-41, so Mahomes, 29, was out.

“I’ll let you know right now, you don’t look like an idiot at all,” chimed in Jason, 36. “You look like a full version of Yosemite Sam the way you look. I mean, that’s the only thing. The Red Raiders clearly stole Yosemite Sam. “

Travis told listeners that he owns his new look, which is “kind of famous” because of the memory of his past.

“I used to play with this guy in NCAA football, like growing up where you could make teams full of mascots,” Travis said, referring to the EA Sports College Football video game. “I used to play with this guy all the time.”

The Chiefs wore the hat for only 10 minutes before taking it off.

“It’s very hot down here,” Travis said. “There’s not a lot of air that comes with this thing. So, it feels like I’m getting a little winded.”

He continued: “Not that I was disrespectful [mascots]but I mean, if this is what they’re doing in Lubbock, Texas, in 100-degree dry-ass heat, f— that. … And on top of that, they run around, making everyone happy.”

Before taking off his hat, Travis called the Red Raider’s chance to win against the Bearcats.

“Me and Pat wanted to have fun with it, knowing that I don’t think we’ve ever been the same on the football field,” he said. “Bearcats, I need you next time, baby. But you didn’t disappoint either. That was a good game, man.”
