On February 2024, Provident ‘Provident’ Provident ‘Provide Organisation (EPFFO) increased interest rate in EPF at 10,25% by 2023-24 percent, from 20,12 percent.

After CBT’s decision, the interest rate on EPF deposits in 2024-25 will be sent to the Synchronization Finance Service.
After government approval, interest rate in EPF in 2024-25 will be included in more than seven EPFO accounts.
The EPFO provides a measure of interest only after the government is allowed by the government for financial service.
In March 2020, the EPFO has reduced the interest rate in the provident Fund deposit.
EPFFO has provided 8,65 interest rate for its subscribers in 2016-17 and 8.55 percent in 2017-18.
The level of interest is a little higher by 8.8 percent in 2015-16. The body of retirement fund has given 8 percent of the 8% of 2013-14 and 2014-15, higher than 8.5 percent in 2012-13.
The level of interest was 8.25 percent in 2011-12.
