Travis Kelce says the Chiefs are not talking about the Super Bowl yet.

The Kansas City Chiefs aren’t letting their No. 1 seed rank. 1 in the AFC has gone to their head – even if it’s possible to win back-to-back Super Bowls down the line.

“I never heard anybody talk about anything ‘three-peat’ [or] or anything like that,” we insisted Travis Kelceone of the team’s game captains, he said in a preview of his upcoming ESPN interview no Chris Berman. “We’re focused on the Houston Texans right now.”

The Chiefs, ranked No. 1 in the AFC conference, will face the Texans on Saturday, January 18, in a playoff game. The winner advances to the conference tournament against the Buffalo Bills or Baltimore Ravens. Of course, the AFC champion will defend a spot in the Super Bowl against the NFC title holder.

“Anybody can get beat in the playoffs if you don’t come in with the right mindset and the right mindset from training camp and the rest of the season,” Kelce, 35, explained before Saturday’s football game. “We have such an old team. We have many leaders in many different ways. The boys step up and the boys understand the job at hand. “

If the Chiefs win the Super Bowl next month, they will become the first NFL team to win the title three times in a row. Kelce, in particular, was signed with the Missouri team when they received the Lombardi trophy in 2020, 2023 and 2024, respectively. (The Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in 2020 and 2023, and the Philadelphia Eagles in 2023.)

The 2024 big game was especially special for Kelce. In addition to winning the trophy, he was able to celebrate this moment by kissing his girlfriend Taylor Swiftstart dating him in 2023. The pop star, 35, has become the backbone of his football games and is expected to be seen on Saturday.
