Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson named as Trump’s ‘ambassadors’ in Hollywood

“It is my honor to announce Jon Voight, Mel Gibsonagain Sylvester Stalloneto be Special Ambassadors to a great but very troubled place, Hollywood, California,” the President-Elect, 78, wrote on Truth Social on Thursday, January 16. “They will serve as Special Ambassadors to me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood. , which has lost a lot of business over the last four years to Foreign Countries, IS BACK — BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER OUTSIDE!”
Trump added that three “very talented people” will serve as his “eyes and ears” in the entertainment industry.
“I will do what they suggest,” he continued. “It will once again be, like the United States of America itself, the Golden Age of Hollywood!”

After the news broke, Gibson, 69, revealed that he heard about his appointment at the same time as the rest of the world but said he was happy with the new role.

In addition to his Hollywood ambassadors, Trump also listed several other members he plans to welcome to his team before his inauguration on Monday, January 20.
Trump will be sworn in on Monday as the 47th president and the ceremony will include many musical guests including Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Billy Ray Cyrus, Gavin DeGraw, Places to stay in Rascal Flatts, Kid Rock, Rural People and more.
“I love our country and I feel honored to be asked to sing at the inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event,” said Underwood, 41, in a statement. “I feel humbled to answer this call at a time when we must all come together in a spirit of unity and look to the future.”
